On October 1, 2024, at 3 pm, ALL Omaha Area Local members are encouraged to join together in front of the Omaha PDC main office entrance to raise public awareness of silencing public comment, delayed mail, decreased mail service, severe understaffing of postal workers, and disregard and disrespect for postal workers' contractual rights. | Special Election: Delegates to the 2024 National APWU convention |
The Omaha Area Local Executive Board has approved the motion to hold a Special Election at the May 14, 2024, General Membership meeting to send Omaha delegates to the 2024 APWU National Convention, which takes place in Detroit, MI from July 12 to July 18, 2024. It is critical that all Omaha Area APWU represented postal employees, separated employees and retired employees update their address. Grievance payouts will be sent to Eagan, MN if you do not have an updated address.
