Tomorrow, May 1, 2025, the Omaha Area Local will join other unions and organizations for a day of action!
Where: 72nd and Dodge Crossroads
(We will meet at the NW corner of 72nd and Dodge to get signs and then move to different corners of 72nd and Dodge)
When: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
On May Day 2025, we encourage APWU members to join our labor allies across the country at one of the many May Day events happening to combat the attacks on the working class - our wages, our benefits, and our dignity.
Honor the struggle for workers' rights
International Workers’ Day is May 1. Born out of the historic fight for the eight-hour workday in the 1880s, it is a day to commemorate the struggle for workers’ rights, and a day for all workers across the globe to stand together in solidarity in the fight for our universal rights.
Spread the word to family and friends and ask them to join us!
I look forward to seeing you there!
Phil Thomas, President
Omaha Area Local, APWU
